Richard Gasquet lives in Neuchatel, Switzerland. He was born on 18th June in 1986. He took birth in Beziers, Languedoc-Roussillon region. Richard is his parents’ only child. At very young age, he started playing tennis. When Richard was four years old, his father guided him to play tennis. At that time, Richard’s dad had a tennis club, which was named TC Serignan. His mother’s name is Maryse. She used to help her husband to run the tennis club. Richard got the initial training of tennis from his father’s tennis club. When he was 9 years old, he was featured on the cover page of a renowned French magazine, which helped to boost his tennis career. His father and Tarik Benhabiles coached the small Richard, in his early days. When he turned into a professional tennis player, his coach became Eric Deblicker and also Guillame Peyre.

He started suffering from knee injury and was out of the final match of French Davis Cup. He could not stay among the top ten players. His consistency got ruined due to injuries.

She watched him play on television set which inspired her to play tennis. After Noah’s win, Mausresmo’s parents gifted her tennis racket. Her mother’s name is Francoise and her father’s name is Francis. Francoise is home maker and her dad was an engineer by profession. In March 2004, Francis died. Fabien is his brother’s name who is also an engineer by profession.
Amelie Mauresmo is the former World No.1 tennis player. She achieved two Grand Slam titles on singles category at Wimbledon and at Australian Open. On 13th of September, 2004 she achieved the top ranking for the first time and held the position for 35 days. She announced her retirement officially on 3rd December 2009 from professional tennis. Her tennis career lasted for 10 years. In the year 2010, Amelie made a come back to Wimbledon but, not as a player. She became the adviser of Michael Llodra and Frenchman for grass courts. Both the junior Wimbledon and junior French Open was captured by Amelie Mauresmo in the year 1996. International Tennis Federation gave her the title of Junior World Champion in that year only. In 1999, she reached the final of the Australian Open. In that tournament she defeated Lindsay Davenport and Martina Hingis was defeated by her at Paris indoor. Both these players were World champions at that time. In 2003 she was included on the French team, which won the Fed Cup. In May 2003, Venus Williams was defeated by her in the final match of J&S 2003 Cup, which took place in Warsaw. After 2 weeks of the previous win, Serena Williams was defeated by Amelie Mauresmo in the semifinal of Italian Open. But on the finals, she lost to Kim Clijsters. Anastasia Myskina was defeated by Amelie in the final match of the tournament which was held in Philadelphia.
In 2006, she achieved Grand Slam title for the fist time at Australian Open by defeating Belgian, Justin Henin and Kim Clijsters. In the same year, she won the Open Gaz de France tournament, which took place in Paris and Proximus Diamond Games, which was held in Antwerp. 2007 was not a good year for her. She could not win a single tournament. In 2008, Mauresmo separated from her coach, Loic Courteau and ended the particular year with World Rank of 24. At a press conference in Paris, she declared her retirement on 3rd December 2009.
